歴史

1945	Korean Electronic & Communication Society (KECS) was founded.
	韓国電子&通信ソサエティー（KECS）が設立された。
1963	KECS changed its name to ‘Institute of Electronics Engineers of Korea (IEEK).’
	KECSの名前が韓国の電子工学協会（IEEK）に変更。
1965	Changed its English name to ‘Korea Institute of Electronics Engineers (KIEE)’ with Korean name unchanged.
	英語名を‘Korea Institute of Electronics Engineers (KIEE)’に変更．
1969	Granted the first IEEK Awards.
	第1回目のIEEKアワードを授与
1983	Signed a MOU of cooperation with the IEICE of Japan.
	日本のIEICEと協力関係のMOUを締結した。
1987	Changed its English name to ‘Korea Institute of Telematics and Electronics (KITE)’ with Korean name unchanged.
	英語名を‘Korea Institute of Telematics and Electronics (KITE)’に変更．
1990	Granted the first Haedong Awards.
	第一回目のへドンアワード授与
1996	Celebrated its fiftieth anniversary.
	五十周年記念
1999	Signed a MOU of cooperation with the IEEE of U.S.A.
	アメリカのIEEEとの協力関係のMOUを締結
1999	Changed its English name back to ‘IEEK’ with Korean name unchanged. Launched internet service with www.ieek.or.kr.
	英語名のみを‘IEEK’に再変更．www.jeek.or.krでインタネットサービスを開始
2006	Granted the first IT Young Engineer Award jointly with IEEE
	第一回目のIEEE協賛のIT若手工学者アワードを授与.
2009	Signed a MOU of cooperation with the CIE of China.
	中国のCIEとの協力関係のMOUを締結した。
2010	Signed a MOU of cooperation with the IET of the United Kingdom
	イギリスのIETと協力関係のMOUを締結した。
2012	Signed a MOU of ICEIC Co-sponsorship with IEEE CE Society
	IEEE Cソサエティーとの共同スポンサーシップのMOUを締結した。
2013	Changed its English name to The Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers (IEIE) with Korean name unchanged
	学会の英語の名を「The Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers (IEIE)」と変更、韓国語の名は変更無。
2014	Establishment of Haedong Japanese Engineering Material Room
	海東日本工学資料室を設立した。
2016	The 1^st International Conference on Consumer Electronics Aisa(ICCE-Asia) was held
	国際学会 ICCE-Asiaを初めて開催した
2017	Provided workshop lectures video via naver(Potral Service website)
	ワークショップ講演の動画をネイバーを通じてサービスしました。
